Biostar has unveiled its second gaming mouse called the AM3. The AM2 gaming mouse appeared in September, which came with an attractive price tag of merely US$10 (about RM45). This time round, the company has unveiled yet another ‘budget-friendly’ gaming mouse that also comes with a ridiculously low retail price.
Unlike the previous AM2 gaming mouse, Biostar’s AM3 comes with a design that looks more like an actual gaming mouse. The company has endowed the gaming mouse with a high-gloss black finish along with LED elements as well – probably not customisable. In addition, the AM3 is also fitted with a “high precision” PMW 3320 sensor which is capable of DPI levels from 800dpi up to 5000dpi.
The switches on Biostar’s AM3 gaming mouse are Huano switches, which are rated for a minimum lifespan of 10 million clicks. The dimensions of the gaming mouse are 122mm x 67mm x 34mm and it weighs around 149 grams. Besides that, Biostar has also generously equipped the AM3 with a 1.8m nylon braided cable as well.
Unfortunately, Biostar has not mentioned when the AM3 gaming mouse will be made available for retail. That said, the company did reveal its price. The Biostar AM3 gaming mouse is priced at an incredibly modest price of just US$16 (about RM72) – it’s hard to find a gaming mouse that’s made by a reputable company at that price point.
