Gigabyte has now announced yet another addition to the Xtreme Gaming lineup in the form of a mechanical keyboard. Dubbed the XK700, Gigabyte’s latest offering was first spotted back in Computex 2016, and it looked rather impressive.
The Xtreme Gaming XK700 mechanical keyboard features an brushed aluminium body that houses 104 Cherry MX RGB keysets. In addition, the keyboard also comes with full N-Key rollover, anti-ghosting, along with 512KB of internal memory to store hotkey and lighting profiles. Speaking of which, there are, in total, four lightning effects that one can choose from: wave, cycling, breathing, and consistent.
Interestingly, it seems that the Xtreme Gaming XK700 mechanical keyboard will come with individually customisable keys, which can be controlled using Gigabyte’s RGB Spectrum software. One neat feature about the XK700 mechanical keyboard is its feet. According to Gigabyte, consumers will be able to fine-tune the elevation of the gaming keyboard to their liking.
Unfortunately, the price and date of availability of the Xtreme Gaming XK700 mechanical keyboard was not mentioned by Gigabyte. That said, we do expect it to be priced rather ‘expensively’, based on the prices of other Xtreme Gaming PC components.
