Cooler Master has unveiled its new top of the line PC chassis called the MasterCase Maker 5t. Interestingly, unlike previous MasterCase 5 cases, the Maker 5t comes with carry handle, an addition that would definitely benefit PC gamers who are often on the go. Apparently, the “t” suffix on Cooler Master’s latest PC case stands for “Turbo”.
That aside, at first glance, the Cooler Master MasterCase Maker 5t looks oddly similar to that with the older MasterCase Maker 5. Well, that’s because it is based off of the latter PC case, but Cooler Master “wanted to go for a sharper, bolder look, like a sports car” with the Maker 5t. Internally, the design of the Maker 5T is almost similar to that of the original Maker 5 PC case, albeit without additional drive cages.
However, the MasterCase Maker 5t does come with several features that aren’t present on the original MasterCase Maker 5 chassis. For instance, it comes with ‘sporty red’ LED accents that is strikingly plastered around the internals of the PC case. In addition, the PC case will also be fitted with not one, but two tempered glass side panels.
Another feature that stands out regarding the Maker 5t is that it comes equipped with a “MasterCase graphics card holder”, which apparently helps to prevent ones graphics card(s) from ‘excessively bending’ the motherboard. The front panel of this PC case is home to four USB 3.0 ports; audio ports; internal fan controller switch; along with power and reset buttons as well.
Unfortunately, no information was given regarding the price and availability of the MasterCase Maker 5t in Malaysia. That said, the PC case is expected to be made available in Europe sometime in December, and it’ll come with a price tag of €249 (about RM1,187).
