Naughty Dog announced more than one big news over the last weekend. Other than the long awaited The Last of Us Part II, the studio also revealed Uncharted’s first ever story DLC: The Lost Legacy. Starring in this standalone game are none other than Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross, who debuted on Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 4 respectively.
When Uncharted 4 was released, some fans were disappointed that Chloe was not featured in the game. Well, these fans will be happy to know that the Australian treasure hunter is set to be the protagonist of The Lost Legacy. Nadine, on the other hand, is likely to be Chloe’s partner in the game – it’ll be interesting to see if the former is a playable character in the upcoming title.
Taking place right after the events of Uncharted 4, The Lost Legacy follows Chloe and Nadine in a quest to recover the Tusk of Ganesh; the gameplay trailer above takes place at the beginning of the game. In terms of length, The Lost Legacy is said to be longer than The Last of Us’ Left Behind DLC, which was already pretty lengthy for a story DLC.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is set to be released sometime in 2017; the game will be available as a standalone purchase at launch. Alternatively, gamers can purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition of Uncharted 4 or the Explorer’s Pack to get The Lost Legacy as a download when available.
