A year ago, the well-known electric appliances and gadgets chain store Senheng has officially launched its own telco service called Senheng Mobile. At that time, the service is only available as postpaid plans but that will change this coming December as Senheng Mobile will begin to offer its new Payback prepaid plan.
As per its existing postpaid plans, Senheng Mobile’s new prepaid plan is riding on redONE’s network which itself is a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) that is using Celcom’s infrastructure. Not surprisingly, Senheng Mobile’s Payback prepaid plan is relatively similar to what redONE has offered under its newly launched prepaid plan which include free 500MB data on monthly basis, unlimited on-net calls, and 30 days validity.
What made Senheng Mobile prepaid plan different from redONE’s offering is the inclusion of EZ Credit Reward scheme which allows customers to convert 10% of their monthly domestic usage into reward points. These reward points can be used to redeem products at Senheng and senQ Digital Station outlets throughout Malaysia.
At the plan’s official launch earlier today, Senheng also announced that it will provide BlackBox Mobile identity to its customers which will allow them to redeem EZ Credit points without the need to enter their user name and password repeatedly. The new Senheng Mobile Payback prepaid plan will be made available to consumers starting from 1 December 2016 through a starter pack that costs RM 10.
