Valve is continuing to print money with Counter Strike: Global Offensive and has introduced a new range of cosmetic items. The new Glove Cases function just like regular CSGO cases, and contain precisely what they claim to contain.
These cases allow players to customise their gloves with 24 all new designs; adding another layer of cosmetics to the game. Not that anyone else will be able to see the changes, but sometimes all that you need to enjoy the game is to be looking at something other than the stock skins.
CSGO’s latest patch is still relatively new, and yet there are already people looking to capitalise on the novelty. The Steam Community Market has one listing for gloves at the time of this writing, with an impressive asking price of RM1,448. Of course, nobody is dumb enough to pay this much money for a pair of digital gloves. Which is why the highest bid so far is a paltry RM839.
We don’t expect the price of gloves to drop that low either, considering that they are expected to have the same rarity as knives. That is all gloves will be extremely rare and difficult to obtain. For reference, the price of knife skins in CSGO rarely drops below RM150; which is where we expect gloves to settle once more cases are opened.
