Microsoft’s Surface Studio is gearing up to be the company’s most ambitious and impressive product yet. However, it looks like Redmond is not taking any chances with its first generation of Surface AIOs and has set up a dedicated support system for Surface Studio owners.
It’s not secret that the first generation of any product will have some bugs to work out; which is likely why Microsoft is getting ahead of the problem. That is not to say that there may be some serious flaws with the Surface Studio. This, instead, looks more like a precautionary measure more than anything else.
On a similar note, Microsoft has surprised everyone by shipping pre-orders of the Surface Studio out early. Those who placed their pre-orders on the first day can look forward to the device arriving in the near future; despite Microsoft saying that the Surface Studio will not be available until 2017.
Naturally, that doesn’t matter to Malaysians. The Surface Studio is currently only available in the US, and there is no indication that Microsoft is interested in expanding the limited production facilities to cater to the global market.
