Besides the new Swift and Spin laptops annouced today, Acer also announced a revamp to its SuperCare warranty plans, offering more comprehensive coverage for its laptops. There are now options to cover international travel warranty and even accidental damage and theft.
There are now five SuperCare warranty packages: SuperCare 1, 2, and 3, Accidental Damage and Theft, and the Acer SuperCare Professional package. The SuperCare 1,2, and 3 offer 3 years on-site warranty with parts, labour, as well as the Accidental Damage and Theft protection. The SuperCare 3 also adds an International Traveller’s warranty, offering peace of mind for those who travel frequently.
Meanwhile, the Accidental Damage and Theft package is offered as an upgrade for those already on current Acer laptop owners on the older SuperCare plans. The plan provides additional protection on top of the SuperCare packages, and in the case of theft, Acer will even replace the stolen laptop with a brand new one.
On the other hand, the SuperCare Professional is an enhanced standalone package that can be purchased on top of the SuperCare 1, 2, and 3. It offers a turnaround time of 24 hours, as well as the option of keeping your hard disk with you while the laptop is being serviced.

The new SuperCare plans are now available on all new Acer product purchases, while those on current Acer Care plans can purchase the Accidental Damage & Theft and SuperCare Professional packages as add-on upgrades.
