Last month, BlackBerry has officially launched a new Android-based smartphone called DTEK60 which is designed and manufactured by TCL. As the story goes, DTEK60 is apparently on its way to Malaysia as local retailer DirectD has revealed the offcial pricing for the device as well as its expected release date.
Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, DTEK60 is also equipped with a 5.5-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440) touch display. Other than that, it also come standard with 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage as well as the support for microSD card with storage of up to 2TB.
On its back, there is a fingerprint reader alongside the phone’s main camera which features 21-megapixel sensor, Phase Detect Auto Focus capability, 6-elements f/2.0 lens, and dual-tone LED flash. For selfies, the DTEK60 relies on an 8-megapixels camera on its front that is also equipped with f/2.2 wide-angle lens.
According to DirectD’s official website, the new DTEK60 is expected to arrive in Malaysia on 14 November 2016 with a price tag of RM 2,338 and protected by 12 months of warranty by Brightstar Malaysia which is the official BlackBerry distributor in our market. At the same time, the retailer has also begun to accept pre-order for the device and offers 8,000 Air Asia BIG points to each DTEK60 pre-order customers.
