G.Skill has unveiled its new 64GB Trident Z DDR4 memory kit which, according to the company, is the fastest 64GB RAM kit it has ever made. The RAM kits will be available in capacities of 4 x 16GB. Prior to this, the company unveiled its blistering fast 4266MHz 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 RAM kit back in May.
G.Skill’s new 64GB Trident Z RAM kit features an “extreme” bandwidth speed of 3600MHz at 1.35V and a CL (CAS latency) timing of 17-19-19-39. In addition, the company has also fitted the high-performance RAM kit with Samsung’s new 8Gb ICs (integrated circuits).
Of course, an overclock-friendly RAM wouldn’t be complete without Intel’s XMP 2.0 support, which the new 64GB Trident Z RAM kit gladly features. It’s worth mentioning that the system used to reflect the aforementioned specifications of the RAM kit included an Intel Core i5-6600K CPU that’s coupled with an Asus Z170 Deluxe motherboard.
G.Skill’s new 64GB Trident Z RAM kit will be made available in December through the company’s distribution partners. Unfortunately, the price for the RAM kit was not mentioned. However, looking back at the prices of other Trident Z RAM kits, it’s safe to assume that G.Skill’s upcoming 64GB RAM kit will not be very affordable.
