When the company launched its new Alienware 15 and 17 earlier this year, Dell has promised that it will launch the latest iteration of Alienware 13 gaming laptop in November. True to its promise, the smallest member of Alienware gaming laptop series has finally been revealed just as we get into the second last month of 2016.
Built with the same “hinge forward” design as per its older brother, the new Alienware 13 can be equipped with up to Intel Core i7-6700HQ, 32GB DDR4-2400, and two 1TB PCIe solid stage drives. However, graphics option is limited to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 with 6GB GDDR5 VRAM graphics card which is still not too shabby.
With a thickness of 23.3mm, another interesting option that Dell has provided for Alienware 13 is the 2560 x 1440 OLED touch display which apparently able to deliver 104% Adobe color gamut. Of course, customers can still choose 1366 x 768 TN panel or full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS panel for their unit.
With a starting price of USD 1,199.99 (about RM 5,025), the new Alienware 13 is not yet available on Dell Malaysia’s online store at this moment though. We’ll keep you posted once we receive any updates from the company.
