The final leg of the youth gaming event, GamePlan 2, took place at Tunku Abdul Rahman University College recently, bringing an end to six months of gaming events in universities and colleges across the country. The finale had a lot of activities planned for attendees as well, with a strong showing across both days.
There were tournaments for various games, Japanese idol meet and greet sessions, cosplayers, exhibition and sales booths for various gaming and pop culture trinkets. Here’s a taste of what happened:
Racing simulation games, where the PvP sessions were regularly intense.
FV Cup Street Fighter V – Capcom Pro Tour for the Street Fighter fans.
Nothing like a good game of Super Smash Bros.
MSI even brought a HTC Vive for attendees to experience VR gaming.
The MSI Gaming Arena Dota 2 tournament casters.
The main stage, where Japanese idols took to the stage, and the final Dota 2 matches were played.
Anyone of you still playing the Nintendo Wii U?
The FIFA 17 tournament was just as intense.
Some goodies and merchandise being sold at the exhibition booths area.
My favourite superhero, The Flash.
Nero from Devil May Cry 4 making a move on Kazumi-chan?
Look at that bezel-less display.
Can you name all six of these Dota 2 heroes?
Some nice Anime-stylised cars.
