As mentioned in our previous article, the new NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti is available starting from this week onwards. As for GIGABYTE, four of its GTX 1050 Ti cards have been planned for release in Malaysia within this month with some of them are readily available in stores.
Leading the line-up is the G1 Gaming variant which is equipped with Windforce 2X thermal solution that features two 90mm fan that spin in alternate direction and would temporarily stop when the card’s temperature is low enough. It also contains a set of heatsinks that is connected by composite heat-pipes with some part of them are purposely designed to have direct contact with the GPU for better cooling capability.
Additionally, the GTX 1050 Ti G1 Gaming is also equipped with customizable RGB light array and metal back plate. Clock-wise, this particular card offers a base clock speed of 1392 MHz and boost clock speed of 1506 MHz when OC Mode is activated.
The next card in the line up is GTX 1050 Ti Windforce OC Edition which also features the same 90 mm dynamic fans from the Windforce 2X thermal solution on the G1 Gaming version but with a different backplate and heaatsink as well as minus the RGB lighthing array. It is also running at a lower clock speed of 1354 to 1468 MHz in OC Mode.
GIGABYTE is also releasing GTX 1050 Ti OC into Malaysia which features another variation of Windforce 2X thermal setup that comes with a simpler heatsink than the two cards we mentioned above together with a pair of smaller 80 mm fans. Not surprisingly, this model is clocked at lower speed of 1341 to 1455 MHz in when OC Mode is activated.
Finally, the GTX 1050 Ti D5 completed GIGABYTE GTX 1050 Ti line-up in Malaysia which carries a single 90mm fan on top of its aluminum heatsink. In terms of clock speed, this particular model is set to run from 1316 to 1430 MHz in OC Mode.
It is interesting to note the GIGABYTE has implemented a 6-pin power connector on its GTX 1050 Ti G1 Gaming and Windforce OC Edition while OC and D5 models do not come with such connector. As for pricing, the SRP of these cards are RM 879, RM 849, RM 799, and RM 759 respectively although you might want to get in touch with your favorite retailer for specific price tag.
