Samsung has finally taken the curtains off its latest smartphone – the Galaxy C9 Pro. Announced for the Chinese market, the device is an upper mid-range smartphone with pretty impressive specs such as a metal unibody, Snapdragon 653 processor, 6GB of RAM, and retails for less than RM2,000.
First up, the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro features a large 6” Full HD display made out of 2.5D curved glass. Topped up with an all-metal body, it sports a premium look that is similar to most smartphones today in its range. On the inside, the C9 Pro is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage that is expandable up to 256GB with microSD card.
As for the camera department, the Galaxy C9 Pro is pretty impressive too. It has two 16MP f/1.9 cameras, one for the front and another for the back. The back also has a dual-tone LED flash on board to help capture pictures even in poor lighting conditions. Other specs include 4000mAh battery, Cirrus HiFi Codec for better audio performance, dual SIM, 4G LTE, NFC, and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
Available in Gold and Rose Gold, the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is now available for preorder in China for a retail price of 3,199 Yuan – that’s about RM1,976, and will go on sale starting from 11 November 2016.
