Following in the footsteps of well-known notebook makers like Razer and HP, Origin PC has unveiled its iteration of a slim VR ready gaming gaming notebook. Dubbed as the EVO15-S, Origin PC’s latest gaming notebook is said to only be 0.69-inches thick, which is apparently thinner than the recently announced 2016 Razer Blade Pro.
When it comes to design, the EVO15-S comes with an all-black chassis (customisable, of course) that is complemented with a full-sized “multi-clour backlit” keyboard. In addition, according to Origin PC, its latest gaming notebook is fitted with a 15.6-inch FHD IPS display. Despite being rather slim, Origin PC have managed to equip the EVO15-S with plenty of high-performance components.
For instance, the EVO15-S comes with a Skylake-based Intel Core i7-6700HQ processor that’s capable of clock speeds of up to 3.5GHz. Besides that, this slim notebook is also equipped with an Nvidia GTX 1060 GPU (6GB), which, of course, makes it VR capable. Other components of the gaming notebook include 16GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD.
Based on the Origin PC Asia webpage, the EVO15-S will be priced from RM10,198 and higher if one opts for extras. The gaming notebook has been made available and orders can be made here.
