Oh “hello again”, it’s official. As expected, Apple has just sent out its invitation for an event scheduled for 27 October 2016. The event will take place on Apple’s campus in Cupertino, and most likely be a launch event for refreshed Mac lineup of computers.
Titled “hello again”, the special invitation-only event will be held at 10am PDT, that’s 1am for us on 28 October 2016. While Apple did not mention what the event is for, it is believed that the company will announce new Mac devices, including the highly rumoured new MacBook Pro with OLED touch strip and new power button with Touch ID.
According to previous reports, apart from redesigned 13” and 15” MacBook Pros, Apple will also refresh other Mac computers including a new standalone 5K display to take over the now discontinued Thunderbolt display, MacBook Airs with USB-C, and new iMacs with AMD graphics. Not all Macs are getting refreshed though, the Mac mini and Mac Pro desktops will most likely remain the same.
As always, Apple will be live streaming the event, so make sure you have a compatible device or browser to watch the launch event as it happens.
