First unveiled back in August, Cooler Master has recently announced that its MasterCase Pro 3 is now available in Malaysia. What made the new case different from previous MasterCase chassis is that the Pro 3 is made for micro-ATX users.
Despite its smaller physique, Cooler Master claimed that the Pro 3 still able to fit two full-sized graphics card, a 280mm liquid cooler radiator, five fans, and up to eight storage drives. Just like the bigger MasterCase 5 chassis, users are also able to install FreeForm modular parts into the Pro 3 case as well.
The 9.1kg case also features a sliding clip and click panel for HDD cages or cooling system that can be easily removed shall users need more space within their Pro 3 case. In addition to the removable front cooling bracket, users are also able to remove the case’s partition panel to provide space for additional graphics card.
Meanwhile, Cooler Master has also brought in several new thermal products into Malaysia including the MasterLiquid Pro 120 and 240 closed-looped CPU liquid coolers which feature the company’s own dual-chamber technology within their pumps. With the setup, the company claimed that MasterLiquid Pro coolers has life expectancy of up to 2.5 times longer than other comparable coolers in the market.
The pumps themselves are said to emit very low level of noise – between 6 to 30 dBA – when they are in operation. Furthermore, Cooler Master has also managed to add more ultra-fine fins into the coolers’ cooper water block which lead to 657% more surface areas and 40% more performance as compared to some of the company’s previous liquid CPU coolers.
Additionally, the company has also implemented square fin design on the aluminum radiators of both coolers for better heat absorption and airflow. To complete the package, Cooler Master has included MasterFan Pro 120 Air Balance fan for radiators on MasterLiquid Pro 120 and 240 coolers.
The MasterFan Pro Air Balance fan itself which is designed for CPU air cooler and the front panel area of a case can also be obtained as individual units. Also newly available in Malaysia is the MasterFan Pro Air Flow fan that is meant to swiftly direct air out from a case and the MasterFan Pro Air Pressure can be used to direct concentrated air on components or tight space. All these fans can be obtained with 120 mm and 140mm dimensions.
Last but not least, Cooler Master has also introduced three new thermal compounds in our market. The line-up consisted of the entry-level MasterGel which is manufactured for swift application and removal while the MasterGel Pro offers higher level of conductivity for faster heat transfer between CPU and cooler base. For those who require even more powerful thermal compound, they can opt for MasterGel Maker which is infused with “Nano Diamond” particles and can be used for not only CPUs but also GPUs as well as chipsets.
Available immediately in Malaysia, the MasterPro 3 case can be obtained at RM 439 while the MasterLiquid Pro 120 and 240 liquid CPU coolers are priced at RM 499 and RM 599 respectively. As for the MasterFan Pro series, the 120mm fans are priced at RM 79 while the 140mm fans go for RM 89. Cooler Master MasterGel thermal compound can be obtained in Malaysia right now as well for RM 19 while the higher-end MasterGel Pro and Maker are priced at RM 29 and RM 65 respectively.
