While Samsung itself has yet to officially announce this product to the world, details of the company’s brand new ArtPC Pulse are now online thanks to the listing on Amazon. At a glance, it is certainly hard to ignore the PC’s eye-catching cylindrical design that is further enhanced with circular ambient lighting.
While the design might not be far off from existing cylindrical-shaped PC such as Apple Mac Pro and MSI Vortex, the top area of the ArtPC Pulse is almost identical to what we’ve seen recently on the HP Pavilion Wave since it is occupied by an integrated audio speaker. Made by Harman Kardon, the speaker has omni-directional output as well.
In terms of firepower, the ArtPC Pulse can be obtained with up to sixth generation Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 256GB NVMe solid state drive, and 1TB 5400rpm SATA hard drive. Graphics-wise, it is handled by AMD Radeon RX 460 graphics card with 2GB of VRAM.
At Amazon, the Core i5 model is priced at USD 1,199.99 (about RM 5,014) while the Core i7 models goes for USD 1,599.99 (about RM 6,690) with both models will be available for sale from 28 October onwards. Given how Samsung does not sell PCs in Malaysia anymore, it is highly doubtful that the ArtPC Pulse will make its way into our market but nevertheless, we’ll keep you posted if Samsung decides otherwise.
