Maxis has opened its pre-order campaign for the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. Sticking to its successful “virtual queue” system, the telco is also streamlining its contracts for the iPhone, moving all into the MaxisONE Plan.
Unlike previous years where Maxis has always offered the iPhone with an iValue postpaid plan made specifically for iPhone contract plans, Maxis has made it dead simple for those looking to buy the iPhone on a Maxis contract.
All iPhone 7 and 7 Plus models are only available on MaxisONE plans 128, 158, and 188, and only on two-year contracts. Interestingly, Maxis is not offering these phones under its popular Zerolution program.
All MaxisONE postpaid plans come with unlimited free calls and texts, 5GB of dedicated data for video streaming on select partners, 3GB of dedicated data for streaming on Spotify, and supplementary lines for RM48 per line which comes with a 5GB quota that can be pooled with the principal and other supplementary lines.
The MaxisONE 128 plan comes with 10GB of data, while the MaxisONE 158 and 188 plans come with 15GB and 20GB of data, respectively.
Now that that’s out of the way, here are the subsidised device prices for the iPhone 7 models by Maxis:
As with previous years, Maxis is also holding a unique 24-hour delivery guarantee for all pre orders anywhere in Malaysia.
At the time of writing, Maxis has all models still in stock, including the rare Jet Black model. To place a pre-order for the new iPhone with Maxis, head on to its dedicated pre-order site, where you’ll be guided and eventually placed in a virtual queue.
