Lenovo’s latest convertible laptop, the Yoga 910, is now available for purchase in Malaysia. Naturally, as one of the company’s most premium laptops, it carries quite a hefty price tag as well. Thankfully, there are more affordable alternatives to the Yoga 910 in Malaysia, and these Lenovo laptops also come with Kaby Lake processors now.
One major hardware difference between the Yoga 910 and its predecessor is the convertible’s display. While the Yoga 900 has quite sizeable bezels, the Yoga 910 has an edge-to-edge display instead, which gives it a very appealing design. This lets Lenovo to increase the display size of the Yoga 910 to 13.9 inches as well. In comparison, the Yoga 900 has a 13.3-inch display.
Other specifications of the Yoga 910 include a 13.9-inch UHD 3840 x 2160 IPS touch display, an Intel Core i5-7200U or i7-7500U processor paired with 8GB of RAM, two choices of SSD storage (256GB and 512GB), as well as a fingerprint reader.
Aside from the Yoga 910, we also spotted several other Lenovo laptops with Kaby Lake processors in Malaysia. These include the IdeaPad 310 (retailing from RM2,199), the IdeaPad 510 (priced at RM2,499), the Yoga 510 (it goes for RM2,699), as well as the IdeaPad 710S, which has a RM3,299 price tag.
In Malaysia, it appears we have two variants of the Lenovo Yoga 910. The more affordable model has a 256GB SSD and a Core i5 processor for RM5,199, while the higher-end RM5,999 model has a more sizeable 512GB SSD and a Core i7 chip. At the time of this writing, only Tech Hypermart have these Kaby Lake machines from Lenovo listed on their online store.
