Think that a black iPhone 7 is too mainstream and a Jet Black one scratches too easily? Here’s one from Gresso that will guarantee to make you stand out in a crowded room. The luxury brand recently announced the iPhone 7 Black Diamond collection.
As its name suggest, the iPhone 7 is decorated with black diamonds all over the back – the company says that there are 1,450 black diamonds on each iPhone 7 that totals to 102kts. That’s not all, the body of the phone has also been changed to premium grade-5 titanium; that’ll definitely be a lot more durable than the normal aluminium casings. Finally, the Gresso logo at the back, as well as the camera frame are made out of 10 grams of 18kt gold.
Gresso is only selling three black diamond-encrusted iPhone 7 devices, each is priced at a whopping US$500,000 (that’s over RM2 million). Of course, for such a premium price, the company won’t expect you to use a mediocre Lightning EarPod. Its black diamond edition iPhone 7 comes bundled with a matching pair of black AirPods that are encrusted with “no less than 30 black diamonds (2kts)”. Each unit is hand-made and takes over 18 hours to assemble.
Don’t have RM2 million to spend on a flashy iPhone but still want to look good? You can opt for a Gresso iPhone 7 case instead. The case is made out of grade-5 titanium and features an 18kt gold inlay, along with diamond embellishments. There are 999 cases, and are a lot more affordable starting from US$2,500 (about RM10,300).
