It has been a year since the honor 7 was officially launched here in Malaysia, and it was one of the best value for money smartphones. Now, honor Malaysia has slashed the retail prices of the device: consumers can now purchase the honor 7 from only RM1,199.
According to honor Malaysia, this price adjustment will “further strengthen the competitiveness of the honor 7 in Malaysia.” The company also mentioned that this is the first time an honor device receives a permanent price drop locally. For the sake of comparison, the honor 7 retails at RM1,399 when it was initially launched here.
Naturally, this pricing adjustment also applies to the newer variant of the honor 7, the honor 7 Enhanced – it now goes for RM1,299. Other than its more sizeable internal storage (it has 32GB of storage instead of 16GB), the Enhanced model doesn’t differ that much from the standard honor 7. Both variants have a 5.2-inch 1080p IPS display, a Kirin 935 processor paired with 3GB of RAM, a microSD card slot, a 3,100mAh battery, as well as 20MP rear and 8MP front-facing cameras.
honor Malaysia mentioned that the new pricing for the honor 7 and honor 7 Enhanced will go into effect today on the 26th of September 2016; both devices can be purchased at their respective new prices from Vmall.my and retail stores.
