Ahead of its Malaysian launch event, GoPro has revealed that its new Hero5 action cameras will be released into the market very soon. The company has also revealed the pricing alongside a number of authorized dealers that eager users are able to visit in order to get their hands on the new cameras.
Specifically, the new cameras which were just announced last week will be making its Malaysian debut on 3 October. For starters, GoPro has listed eight authorized dealers that will be releasing Hero5 Black and Hero5 Session cameras on that very day with five of them located in Klang Valley while the other three stores are located in Penang, Melaka, and Johor Bharu.
According to GoPro, the Hero5 Black is priced at RM 1,849 while the smaller Hero5 Session goes for RM 1,399. However, GoPro didn’t specify whether accessories for these new cameras such as the GoPro Remo will be released in our market at the same time or else.
Meanwhile, those who are planning to get their hands on the Karma drone have to wait till further notice as GoPro stated that it will not be released in Malaysia at this moment. We’ll keep you posted once GoPro Karma is finally ready to fly in Malaysia.
