Xiaomi will be holding a launch event on the 27th of September 2016, and chances are, the Xiaomi Mi 5s will be officially unveiled on that day. Just recently, the Chinese company has revealed even more teasers of the Mi 5s, and it seems to be packing quite impressive hardware.
The most recent teaser shows an image of two camera sensors, which looks a lot like the dual-camera setup of the Xiaomi Redmi Pro. More likely than not, the Mi 5s will take advantage of the same dual-camera system, although it should be superior to the Redmi Pro’s cameras; the Mi 5s is set to be Xiaomi’s best device yet, after all. Interestingly enough, Xiaomi even released a sample image taken with the Mi 5s.
Another teaser focuses on the performance of the Mi 5s instead. According to Xiaomi, the Mi 5s managed to obtain a score of “164,119 on one of the most popular benchmark platforms.” Unfortunately, it was not made known just which benchmark app was used, although some parties are saying the benchmark score was obtained from AnTuTu. If that’s the case, it’s quite an impressive score. The OnePlus 3, for one, got a score of 141,238 in our review.
Based on these teasers, the Xiaomi Mi 5s does show a lot of promises. The device is expected to be introduced on the 27th of September next week; Xiaomi mentioned that more than one product will be unveiled on that day as well.
