When the Huawei P9 was made official, several colours – including Rose Gold – of the device were announced at the same time. Although only three colours of the P9 was made available in Malaysia when it was initially launched here (Gold, Grey and Silver), the Rose Gold variant of the device is now available locally; it has different amount of storage and RAM as well.
However, we were told by Huawei Malaysia that only 999 units of the Rose Gold Huawei P9 will be available locally. On top of that, every purchase of this particular variant comes with a complimentary Huawei P9 Gift Box, which is worth RM259. Note that this promotion is only valid until the 2nd of October 2016.
Aside from the different colour, the Huawei P9 Rose Gold Edition has similar hardware to the standard P9. That is, other than the fact that it comes with 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM; the standard variant only has 32GB storage and 3GB RAM. Of course, these differences also come with a slightly higher price tag of RM2,399, which is RM300 more than the regular P9’s retail price.
