Uber is partnering with PAWS Malaysian and Petfinder.my to deliver kittens in Kuala Lumpur tomorrow. This isn’t a pet delivery service, but rather for people to have 15 minute play sessions with the tiny felines and to raise awareness for stray animals. And to celebrate Uber’s expansion into Kuching, Sarawak.
UberKUCING will bring a kitten over to the location of the customer for RM30, all of which will be donated to PAWS. Uber will also be accepting additional donations through the app, although this doesn’t actually buy any extra time with the animals. Of course, all of this is tax deductible and Uber will be issuing receipts for that purpose.
It should be noted that these animals are not up for donation during the promotion, and interested parties should instead contact PAWS for more information about giving the animals a permanent home.
New Uber users can also use the UBERKUCING promo code to get a free ride worth RM30 on that day; or to try and get a session with the kittens. Uber’s kitten delivery service will only take place on 14 September 2016, which is tomorrow. More information can be found on the Uber blog.
