There are many – too many, actually – products on Kickstarter. For this very reason, it can be overwhelming to find for a product that you really like. Enter the Fidget Cube; it’s basically the perfect desk toy for someone who fidgets a lot, and I absolutely want one.
The Fidget Cube, as its name suggests, has six different sides. On each side, there is a neat little distraction; one side has a switch which you can pivot over and over again, while another has five buttons to click incessantly. Basically, the Fidget Cube is a Fisher Price toy for adults, if you will.
This neat little project is the work of Antsy Labs, which is made up of brothers Mark and Matthew McLachlan. Initially asking for a very modest pledge goal of $15,000, the Fidget Cube has been pledged a whopping $1.8 million at the time of this writing; that’s about RM7.4 million. Considering there are 40 more days to go before the project’s backing period ends, there’s a very good chance it will be funded for much, much more money.
If you’re as convinced as me that you need one of these, you can back the Fidget Cube – as well as find more information – on its Kickstarter page here. Currently, early birds can get it for $19 (about RM75); the Fidget Cube will retail at $25 (approximately RM100) when it is released. Now, excuse me while I get five of these for myself.
