Samsung recently unveiled a brand new clamshell smartphone – the Samsung Galaxy Folder 2. The device is an upgrade to the original Galaxy Folder that was launched just last year.
Like the original clamshell smartphone, the Galaxy Folder 2 is an entry-level Android smartphone. It has a 3.8” TFT display with a resolution of 480 x 800. On the inside, the Folder 2 is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage (it supports microSD cards of up to 128GB).
Other specs include 8MP f/1.9 rear camera, 5MP front camera, 4G LTE connectivity, 1950mAh battery, dual-SIM support, and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.
Available in a pretty stylish shade of gold colour, the Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 is currently only listed in Samsung China’s website. Sadly though, like almost all clamshell smartphones that have ever been launch, it is unlikely to make its way to Malaysia, not officially at least.
