Hushed voices speak of a “first-wave” availability in Malaysia of every new iPhone global announcement. And each time, our hearts flutter and drop as the slide of countries does not include Malaysia.
This time around, Apple revealed the first and second waves of countries receiving the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus – and both does not include Malaysia. It may be unsurprising for some, but we’re sure there will be more than a few disappointed souls to see lesser-known countries such as the Isle of Man, Jersey, and Guernsey (?) in the second wave instead of our beloved Malaysia.
The wait will be anxious, but if last year is anything to go by, it may not be too long before the new iPhones hit our shores – the iPhone 6s was made available in Malaysia from 16 October 2015.
