Fnatic’s Dota 2 squad had an amazing run at this year’s Dota 2 International 2016, but that wasn’t enough to keep the roster together. It was during the Fall Shuffle – a period where teams can make changes to their rosters – that Fnatic announced three of its players – Djardel “DJ” Mampusti, Yeik “MidOne” Nai Zheng, and Adam “343” Shah will be leaving the team.
Since then, Mushi and Ohaiyo appeared to have taken their time rebuilding the team’s lineup, and the new team roster is ready for its official debut. The Fnatic Dota 2 team will now consist of Mushi and Ohaiyo, joined by Jimmy “DeMoN” Ho, Marc Polo “Raven” Luis Fausto, and Nico “eyyou” Barcelon from Filipino Dota 2 team, Team TNC.
Mushi retains his role as Team Fnatic’s captain while the roles of the rest of the players are not announced as of this writing. The team’s debut performance will be at the Mineski Pro Gaming League, which will take place in Kuala Lumpur from the 9th to the 11th of September.
Apart from announcing Team Fnatic’s new lineup, the gaming organisation also announced a partnership with Astro’s eGG Network, the first TV network dedicated to e-sports and gaming related content. The partnership will see eGG gaining exclusive access to the team, as well as airing Fnatic produced content on the network.
