Since the day Intel launched its new 7th generation Core processors earlier this week, we have witnessed plenty of new laptops that are equipped with one of them. Here comes another one: the refreshed version of Razer Blade Stealth.
Alongside the 2.7GHz Core i7-7500U dual-core processor which also carries Intel HD Graphics 620 GPU inside it, the refreshed model is able to be equipped with up to 16GB of RAM instead of being limited to just 8GB as per the original model. Furthermore, it also features a 53.6Whr battery which has 15 percent more capacity than the battery that came with the original Blade Stealth.
Meanwhile, Razer has also unveiled the refreshed version of its 14-inch Blade gaming laptop. It doesn’t come with an updated processor though since enthusiast-level 7th generation Intel Core processor will only be released in January 2017. Nevertheless, the refreshed model still carries a new component in the form of GTX 1060 with 6GB GDDR5 VRAM which was just being introduced to the market as well.
In terms of pricing, the refreshed Blade Stealth starts at USD 999 (about RM 4,072) while the refreshed 14-inch Blade model is available from USD 1,799 (about RM 7,332) onwards. No words on when these machines will be released in Malaysia although Razer did mentioned that the GTX 1060-based Blade will be made available globally in November.
