Alongside the new Nova and Nova Plus smartphones, Huawei has also unveiled the latest member of its MediaPad tablet series in the form of M3. Clearly made for media consumption, the new tablet offers quite a number of features to serve that purpose within its 7.3mm aluminum uni-body shell.
One of them is the 8.4-inch IPS display that has native resolution of 2560 x 1600 as well as pixel density of 359 ppi. Powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 950 octa-core processor that has a maximum speed of 2.3GHz, the tablet is also equipped with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM while users have the choice to obtain it with either 32GB or 64GB internal storage.
Huawei also put a lot of emphasis of MediaPad M3’s audio capability since the company has equipped the tablet with an AKM AK4376 DAC to provide high quality audio for its headphones output. At the same time, Huawei has also worked with Harman Kardon to further enhance M3’s stereo speakers which are already covered by Huawei’s own SWS 3.0 technology and Smart PA system.
Furthermore, Huawei has also collaborated with AKG to come out with the H300 earphones that is designed to complement the tablet although it will be made available as an optional accessory. On top of all these features, M3 also comes standard with 5100mAh battery, 8-megapixels sensor for both its cameras, and fingerprint sensor on its home button.
