In addition to the mighty Predator 21X gaming laptop with curved display, Acer has announced a set of new Predator gaming monitors that are also equipped with Tobii eye tracker which is said to a world’s first. Not only that, each of these new monitors also features high refresh rate panels that are paired together with NVIDIA G-Sync technology.
Leading the line-up is the Predator Z271T, a 27-inch curved full HD (1920 x 1080) gaming monitor with 1800R curvature. Comes with a 144 Hz VA panel, the Z271T also has a response time for 4 ms and NTSC color gamut of 72%. It is also equipped with a pair of 7W speakers and USB 3.0 hub.
Next up is the Predator XB271HUT which is also a 27-inch gaming monitor with 4 ms response time. However, it has a slightly higher refresh rate at 165 Hz as well as able to support resolution of up to 2560 x 1440.
For those who looking for even faster refresh rate, there is also the new Predator XB251HQT which is equipped with 240Hz panel with 1ms response time. However, they have to be content with its smaller screen size of 25-inch and full HD resolution.
In terms of availability, the Z271T will be released in Europe starting next month for EUR 799 (about RM 3,628) before followed by XB271HUT in December which will carry a price tag of EUR 899 (about RM 4,082). Malaysian release date and pricing information are no available at the moment, so we’ll keep you updated once we receive further information from Acer Malaysia.
