Asus has unveiled its latest product in the form of a graphics card called the Radeon RX 480 Dual 4GB; which is based off of the 4GB variant of the Radeon RX 480. Despite being equipped with half the VRAM, Asus’ newest graphics card comes with plenty of features that makes it tempting for budget-conscious PC gamers.
When it comes to aesthetics, the Asus Radeon RX 480 Dual 4GB graphics card comes with a custom-made PCB, which appears to be shorter than that of its Strix graphics brethren. In addition, the graphics card also ships with a snowy white cooler shroud. On the cooler shroud is where two of Asus’ patented wing-blade open-air fans can be found.
That aside, the Asus Radeon RX 480 Dual 4GB graphics card also boasts respectable specifications. According to Asus, the graphics card is capable of reaching a boost clock speed of up to 1320MHz (in OC Mode). Interestingly, on its product page, Asus was quick to mention that the graphics card will come with the Gaming Mode preset out of the box; meaning it’ll come with a slightly reduced boost clock speed of 1300MHz. I/O ports include two HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort ports each; along with a single DVI-D port.
Price and date of availability of the Asus Radeon RX 480 Dual 4GB graphics card was not mentioned. However, we do expect the graphics card to be reasonably priced when it reaches Malaysia soon. More information regarding the graphics card can be found here.
