The PlayStation leaks continue this week with what appears to be a new DualShock 4 controller. News outlets are calling the leak legitimate for now; seeing as the owner of the DS4 has allowed at least one gaming news site to take a look at it.
On the whole, the controller itself doesn’t look like a substantial departure from the usual DS design. The only difference seems to be the addition of a lightbar above the touchpad. This change doesn’t seem to change anything about how the DS4 works; and is likely a small change to allow players to keep track of their controller colour for multiplayer games.

This DS4 isn’t the only leak surrounding Sony’s upcoming September announcement. The new slim version of the PlayStation 4 also recently leaked; and the Wall Street Journal is also saying that the company is preparing to announce two different consoles next month.
