Cooler Master recently has announced the arrival of two new products in our market with one of them being the MasterBox 5 mid-tower PC case. Focusing of flexibility, the new case is designed to fit various motherboard form factors including E-ATX motherboards which are slightly larger than your usual ATX motherboards.
This is due to the fact that the company didn’t include any permanent storage drive cage inside the MasterBox 5 case. Instead, the case comes with a number of tray cut-outs that allows users to personally choose the positions to mount their storage drives inside the case that is appropriate to their system configurations.
Additionally, Cooler Master also claimed that MasterBox 5 case is able to support up to two 16.2-inch graphics card and 360mm liquid cooling radiator. That being said, the actual number of components that can be fitted into the MasterBox 5 case is ultimately up on how users arrange them inside the case.
Available in black and dual-tone finish, the MasterBox 5 case also comes standard with two pre-installed 120mm fans as well as front and bottom dust filters. Price-wise, the case is listed at RM 399 regardless of the colorway.
Meanwhile, the second new product that Cooler Master has recently launched in Malaysia is the MasterKeys Lite L combo which actually consisted of a gaming keyboard and optical gaming mouse in one single package. Among the combo’s main attraction is the RGB LED lights that are present on both devices which have become a growing trend in gaming peripherals market recently.
Other than that, the keyboard itself is equipped with a hybrid switch that Cooler Master dubbed as the mem-chanical switches which apparently able to provide the same typing feel as per mechanical switches. Complete with 26-keys anti-ghosting capability, the keyboard is also able to support Cherry MX keycaps and resistant to water splashes.
As for the optical gaming mouse, it carries an Avago 3050 infrared sensor alongside Omron switches as its left and right mouse buttons which apparently able to last up to 10 million clicks. Users are also able to switch the mouse’s sensitivity up to 3,500 DPI on-the-fly through its dedicated DPI button.
A set of Teflon feet has also been equipped into the mouse to allow it to glide smoothly on virtually any surfaces. Just like the MasterBox 5, the new MasterKeys Lite L gaming keyboard-mouse combo is now available in Malaysia for RM 299.
