Samsung has revealed that Malaysians are going to get hold of the new Galaxy Note 7 a lot sooner than expected. This year, Malaysians will be able to grab a new Galaxy Note 7 on the same day as the global availability.
The new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 retains the 5.7-inch QHD display from its predecessor, but backs it up with the newer Exynos 8890 Octa core processor. This time around, users will be getting 64GB of UFS 2.0 storage as standard, as well as the option of expanding that even further via a microSD card.
A new S Pen accompanies the Galaxy Note 7, along with several new features. Notes can be taken quickly, even while the display is off thanks to the new Screen off memo; while new Translate and Magnify join the list of Air Command options. You can even jot down notes when the phone is submerge, should the need ever arise.
Samsung will be opening online pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 7 in Malaysia from 8 to 10 August. There will only be 4,000 units available for pre-order. Samsung seems to be hinting that there will be something extra for those who manage to get their pre-order in. Sources indicate that there is likely to be some pre-order sweeteners, though we cannot confirm what they are for now.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will officially be sold in stores from 19 August for a retail price of RM3,199. The phablet will come in three colours, which are Gold Platinum, Silver Titanium and Black Onyx.
