Aside from the new Prepaid Live plan, Digi today has also unveiled another new plan for its customers called Prepaid Best. Not to be confused with the previously released Digi Best Prepaid, the new plan offers free data when customers make international calls.
Specifically, customers will receive 200 MB worth of data when they made international calls that costs at least RM 1. However, the free data is only provided once per day which technically means that customers also must perform international calls every day if they want the free data on daily basis.
Furthermore, the free data can’t be accumulated as the 200 MB itself is the maximum amount of free data that customers are able to have at one time. Additionally, only calls to Indonesia, Bangladesh, Nepal, India, Myanmar, Pakistan, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand and China using are eligible to receive the free 200 MB data.
That being said, the calls can be made using either Direct Dial or IDD133 although customers need to make the calls using their main credit balance – as opposed to free credit that they may have received – in order to be eligible for the free data. Meanwhile, the Prepaid Best also comes with free 500 MB data per month for basic 64 Kbps Internet service that is meant for instant messaging and light Internet browsing.
As per Prepaid Live pack, the Mobile Internet add-on for Prepaid Best also provides free streaming data quota of 4GB although it is only available for monthly add-on RM 30 and above. The starter pack for the new Digi Prepaid Best is available from today onwards at RM 8 inclusive of GST while existing Digi Prepaid customers are able to convert to the new pack via USSD command (*128*1*4#).
