Just few hours ago, Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia and Sony Malaysia have revealed that gamers will be able to experience the new PlayStation VR headset right here in Malaysia. According to both companies, gamers are able to do so at Sony Store in Suria KLCC and The Curve in Mutiara Damansara.
The demo stations will be opened at both outlets starting from 30 July (that’s tomorrow!) although neither of the companies have mentioned the list of PS VR titles will be shown at these outlets. At the same time, they also have yet to confirm whether the PS VR demo will be a permanent fixture at both stores or just a temporary demonstration.
Nevertheless, the timing is rather apt since gamers are also able to pre-order PS VR at selected retailers starting from tomorrow onwards. Naturally, both Sony Store in Suria KLCC and The Curve are some of the outlets where gamers are able to place their PS VR pre-order.
To be released in Malaysia on 13 October, the standalone PS VR carries a price tag of RM 1,849 while the PS VR with PS Camera bundle goes for RM 2,029. Meanwhile, don’t forget to check out our PS VR hands-on experience with the help of RIGS Mechanized Combat League and Batman Arkham VR.
