Images of XFX’s upcoming RX 470 Double Dissipation graphics card have been leaked. Interestingly, this leak – together with Sapphire’s – seem to suggest that the official release date of the Radeon RX 470 graphics card is coming pretty soon.
Design-wise, it seems that XFX has taken some design cues from its Radeon RX 480 Black graphics card (not officially released yet) and incorporated it in the RX 470 Double Dissipation. The card comes with two open-air coolers that are said to be removable; like Sapphire’s Nitro+ RX 480. Besides that, the XFX RX 470 Double Dissipation also comes with a mean-looking backplate, and it bears the same colour as the matte black cooler shroud found on the front of the graphics card.
The RX 470 Double Dissipation comes with a 6-pin power connector and will consume less power than the RX 480. When it comes to connectivity, the XFX RX 470 Double Dissipation graphics card is fitted with one DVI-D and one HDMI port; along with three DisplayPort ports.
Unfortunately, aside from detailed images, the price and date of availability of the XFX RX 470 Double Dissipation was not mentioned. However, we do expect XFX to provide those information very soon.
