The next iPhone – or iPhones – has been the centre of various rumours for quite some time now, and this latest one may just be the most exciting yet. According to a reliable source, the next iPhone will be available for pre-order on the 9th of September 2016.
This tip came from Evan Blass (also known by his Twitter handle @evleaks), who was also the same person who mentioned that the next iPhone will be released in the week of 12 September. Now that Blass is saying the pre-orders for the latest iPhone will happen on the 9th of September, there’s a good chance the device itself will be available to consumers in the aforementioned week.
Confirmed: Pre-orders start on the 9th. You can extrapolate the launch event date from there. https://t.co/gwoPzIM1dI

Alleged images of the upcoming iPhones
If we look back at the launch of the iPhone 6s, 6s Plus and their predecessors, both generations of iPhones were officially announced on the 9th of September with pre-orders taking place a few days after the launch event. Taking this into consideration, there is a chance the next generation iPhone will be available for pre-order immediately after its announcement on the 9th, although this is merely an educated guess.
Traditionally, iPhones were not available for pre-order immediately after their respective launch events, although Apple’s other products such as the refreshed 12-inch MacBook was available for purchase – even in Malaysia – right after the company announced it. Whether or not this will be the case for the upcoming iPhone remains to be seen.
