Lenovo recently took the curtains off its third generation Moto E, an affordable entry-level smartphone from the company. The device, as expected, is now more powerful than before, and features a larger screen.
The new Moto E now has a larger 5” HD display, up from the 4.5” display to on the second generation Moto E. The device is powered by a quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage that is expandable via a microSD card slot.
Other specs include an improved 8MP rear camera with autofocus, a slightly larger 2800mAh battery, and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. Lenovo also says that the Moto E has a “built-in smudge-resistant screen protector” though, they did not detail on what it means exactly. The third-generation Moto E is also “splashproof”, but don’t bring it to the shower or swim with it because it has nano-coating and is not fit for any form of submersion.
Price wise, the Moto E will be available in the UK for a retail price of £99 – that’s about RM525.
