It seems that HTC is finally ready to debut the One X9 in Malaysia. First leaked in November 2015, the HTC One X9 features a 5.5-inch full HD Super LCD display that is protected by Gorilla Glass. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core 64-bit MediaTek Helio X10 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the phone has 32GB of internal memory and supports microSD expansion of up to 2TB.
In the camera department, the HTC One X9 has a f/2.0 13MP camera on the back complete with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and 4K recording. On the front, you will find an f/2.8 5MP camera that supports full HD recording. Connectivity wise, the HTC One X9 supports both FDD and TDD LTE bands, and has dual nano SIM support. Other than that, the device is also capable of DLNA and Miracast streaming.
The HTC One X9 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and is powered by a rather small 3,000mAh battery. However, HTC makes up for it by including fast charging as well as extreme power saving mode on the device.
The HTC One X9 will be launched in two colour variants – Gold and Grey, and it will be available in stores from August for RM1,499.
