It’s been a while since Apple debuted 3D Touch feature on its iPhone 6s, but it’s not too late for developers to make use of it. Facebook has finally brought the feature to its Messenger app.
The update, available right now on the App Store, brings a bunch of shortcuts to the Facebook Messenger app via the pressure-sensitive display on the iPhone 6s / iPhone 6s Plus like preview conversations, photos, GIFs, videos, stickers, links and such. Do note that previewing a message will mark it as read, so do reply and don’t leave the other party hanging.

The latest Facebook Messenger for iOS will not affect the way the app normally works, but if you are using the latest iPhones, you can get to your messages faster. The update is available right now for iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus so check it out for more information.
Apple is expected to launch the next generation iPhone, touted as the iPhone 7, so it’s good to see more developers making use of 3D Touch.
