U Mobile’s Video-Onz free video streaming service for its postpaid and prepaid subscribers has just gotten better. The telco recently added seven new channels so you can watch all the popular videos on the Internet, or listen to your favourite radio channel using the free unlimited video streaming service, 24 hours a day.
The new channels added includes Dailymotion, Viki, Crunchyroll, YuppTV, BFM, The Edge TV and StarLive. This makes a total of 18 channels and just like before, there’s no time limit, so you can watch all you want whenever you want.
U Mobile Video-Onz free video streaming service was first introduced back in late April 2016. Postpaid customers on P98, P70, i90 and i130 plans will get to enjoy free unlimited streaming on all 18 channels, while customers on other plans, including prepaid subscribers, will get 100% extra data for Video-Onz. For example, U28 subscribers will get 3GB of monthly high-speed internet quota and an additional 3GB for Video-Onz.
One other thing that was pointed out is that that P70 subscribers will only receive free unlimited streaming until 31 July 2016. After this time, they will receive a monthly quota of 7GB for streaming Video-Onz.
U Mobile Video-Onz is available till 31 December 2016. Do note that the quality of the videos you stream will be optimised to standard definition (480p) resolution. The video quality will automatically be optimised for Video-Onz. For those who have limited Video-Onz quota, once you have used it all up, you can still continue streaming on these services however, U Mobile will deduct data from your rate plan.
