Even though the GeForce GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 might have just started making their rounds to retail stores throughout the world, it looks like there will be another Pascal-based graphics card on its way as well. This is due to the appearance of a picture from Hong Kong that showed a yet to be announced card called GeForce GTX 1060.
Based on its name, it is not hard to expect that the card will be targeted to mainstream gamers just like its predecessors which include the GTX 960, and GTX 860. Given its status as a yet to be released product though, there are no confirmed information at the moment although a rumor pointed that GTX 1060 might come with either 3GB or 6GB of VRAM.
Additional rumors also stated that the new card might be heading to market this July. If this is true, it means that the GTX 1060 will be going head to head against the newly announced AMD Radeon RX 480 which could be available to gamers within this week.
All in all, it looks like there will be an interesting graphics card battle in the mainstream segment very soon. Well, guess we’ll keep a look for the official announcement from NVIDIA regarding the new GTX 1060 then.
