Originally launched in late May, ASUS ZenBook Flip UX360CA has finally made its way into Malaysia. While still retaining the sleek brushed metal exterior as per other ZenBook laptops, the UX360CA is a unique addition to the family since it is the first ZenBook to feature 360-degrees hinges.
Hence, the UX360CA can be utilized in several positions including the traditional laptop form, tent mode, and tablet. According to ASUS, the company has tested the durability of the hinge by opening and closing the laptop for more than 20,000 cycles.
With a thickness of 13.8mm, the 1.3kg convertible laptop carries a 13.3-inch IPS touch display with full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. For our market, the UX360CA is powered by an Intel Core m3-6Y30 which runs at a base speed of 900MHz up to maximum turbo speed of 2.2GHz. It is also equipped with 4GB LPDDR3 RAM and 128GB M.2 SATA III solid state drive.
Other than that, the UX360CA also comes standard with a 4,590 mAh battery that apparently able to provide the laptop with up to 12 hours of battery life. With audio speakers that were co-developed by ASUS own Golden Ear team and Danish audio specialist ICEpower, the laptop also carries a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port alongside two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one micro HDMI, a 3.5mm audio jack, and SD card reader.
Available in Icicle Gold and Mineral Grey colorways, the new ZenBook UX360CA is available immediately from authorized ASUS dealers throughout the country for RM 3,099.
