Samsung recently launched the Galaxy J Series 2016 in Malaysia, which includes the Galaxy J1, J5 and J7. It didn’t, however, include the Galaxy J3. Despite this, the J3 is already available in Samsung retail stores.
The Samsung Galaxy J3 2016 has a 5-inch Super AMOLED 720p display, and it runs on a quad-core 1.5GHz processor coupled with 1.5GB of RAM. The device has 8GB of internal memory with 4.3GB available for use. Other than that, it also supports microSD card expansion of up to 128GB.
On the front, users will find a 5MP front-facing camera while an 8MP camera with flash is equipped on the back of the device. In terms of connectivity, the Galaxy J3 2016 has dual Micro-SIM which supports both 4G FDD-LTE and 4G TDD-LTE, making it compatible with Yes 4G’s (VoLTE) LTE network. Besides that, powering the the Galaxy J3 2016 is a removable 2,600mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy J3 2016 is now available nationwide and it comes in three colour options – gold, black, and white. The device is priced at RM649 and it doesn’t come with free 30GB of Yes 4G LTE.
