This might have slipped our radar but it seems that DiGi has recently launched two new data add-on for its prepaid customers in conjunction with the on-going Ramadhan month. One of them is priced at RM 9 per week and offers a total quota of 1.2GB.
However, the total quota is actually split into two with 600MB being the general quota while the other 600MB is meant for off-peak period from 1AM to 7AM. This is in line with some of the existing weekly prepaid data add-on plans which do come with off-peak quota although on these plans, customers actually able choose to have either Facebook or YouTube quota instead which are not available for the new Ramadhan package.
At the same time, DiGi Ramadhan prepaid data add-on is also available with 3GB quota which is priced at RM 35 per month. Just like existing monthly prepaid data add-on plans, the Ramadhan offer does come with unlimited off-peak data too although the option of Facebook, YouTube, or additional LTE quota are not applicable for the plan.
Interesting enough, both Ramadhan prepaid data add-on are accompanied with unlimited music streaming through DiGi Music Freedom which is not available for any of the existing weekly or monthly prepaid data add-on at the moment.
