AMD has announced that it’ll be attending Computex 2016 and will be holding an event on the 1st of June. AMD has mentioned that the event will feature the launch of its 7th generation AMD A-Series Processors along with more Polaris updates of course. AMD’s Lisa Su, Raja Koduri and Jim Anderson will also be speaking at the event.
There were rumours circulating on the internet saying that AMD will not be organising any events during Computex 2016; due to the fact that the company was said to have certain problems in manufacturing its upcoming Polaris GPUs. Those rumours can now be put to rest. It’ll also be interesting to see what AMD’s 7th generation A-Series Processors can offer.
That aside, AMD’s press conference will also be live streamed. The event itself will be taking place on the 1st of June at 10am local time and the link to the stream can be found here. If streaming events isn’t your forte, no worries, we’ll definitely be bringing plenty of information about the event here on our site – so stay tuned.
The only question that remains now is if Polaris GPUs can compete with Nvidia’s Pascal GPUs. Let’s hope that AMD can somehow surprise us all – just like how Nvidia did a few weeks ago.
